Return & Refund Policy

At NOTI Marketplace, your satisfaction is our priority. If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect, or not as described, you have the right to return it and request a refund according to the terms below.

1. Eligible Returns

You may request a return if:

  1. The product is damaged, defective, or not as ordered
  2. The product is unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition
  3. The return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned, unless damaged or incorrect:

  1. Perishable goods (e.g., food, beverages, fresh produce)
  2. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks or gloves
  3. Personal hygiene products (e.g., soaps, perfumes, opened cosmetics)
  4. Digital or downloadable products (e.g., software, e-vouchers, licenses)
  5. Items marked as “Non-Returnable” or “Final Sale”

3. Return Request Period

All return requests must be made within 7 days of receiving the product.

Requests submitted after this period may be accepted or declined depending on the seller’s discretion.

4. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Log into your NOTI account
  2. Go to My Orders
  3. Select the order and click Request Return
  4. Provide a reason and attach photos if the item is damaged
  5. Wait for confirmation from our support team or the seller

Once approved, you’ll receive instructions on how to send the item back to the seller or the NOTI return center.

5. Refund Process

Refunds are issued after:

  1. The returned product is received and inspected
  2. The seller or NOTI confirms eligibility

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used during purchase:

  1. Mobile money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money) or bank account
  2. Usually processed within 3–10 business days, depending on payment provider

If you paid by Cash on Delivery (COD), you’ll only be charged for return shipping (if applicable).

6. Return Shipping Costs

  1. If the product is defective or incorrect, NOTI or the seller will cover all return costs.
  2. If returning for a change of mind, the customer bears the return cost.

7. Exchanges

For items like clothing, shoes, or electronics:

  1. You may request an exchange for a different size, color, or model
  2. Exchanges depend on stock availability
  3. If the new item is unavailable, a refund will be issued

8. Product Inspection

All returned products are inspected to verify:

  1. The item is unused and undamaged
  2. It’s in its original packaging
  3. It meets the return eligibility terms

Items that fail inspection will be rejected and no refund will be issued.
